WIL Student of the Year Award

Co-op Student of the YearThe EWO WIL Student of the Year Award recognizes the achievement of one University student and one College student engaged in Work-Integrated Learning


The WIL Student of the Year Award is presented to one student attending a university and one student attending a college, who have showcased exceptional job achievement, extra-curricular involvement, academic achievement and a strong contribution to Work-Integrated Learning.

The winning student receives an award of $750.

Are You Eligible?

To be eligible for the WIL Student of the Year Award you must:

  • Be nominated by an EWO member institution with the approval of the employer/community partner involved.
  • An undergraduate, applied degree or diploma student registered full-time in a recognized post-secondary program
  • Complete the nominated work term within the calendar year
