EWO Purchasing Policy

1. A minimum of three written quotations should be received prior to any decision regarding a supplier for goods and services in excess of $750.

2. The previous supplier should be included in the tendering process, unless there was a significant issue with quality or effectiveness of the product or service.

3. When preparing quotes for tender, no suppliers will be given the price secured on the previous contract. All details pertaining to quantity, delivery dates, and any other special considerations (i.e. colour, specific set-ups) will be consistently provided for all suppliers bidding on the job.

4. The details of the winning contract will not be released to any supplier who has quoted on the job.
