The Voice of Post-Secondary Education in Ontario
Thank You for Visiting Education at Work Ontario
Education at Work Ontario (EWO) strives to promote and foster co-operative education of the highest quality, while ensuring an integral partnership between students, employers and post-secondary educational institutions.
Education at Work Ontario has a membership of over 180 co-op educators, working with more than 40,000 co-op students, at 37 colleges and universities.
It is critical for post-secondary students to gain as much hands-on experience as possible before beginning a career, that's why our focus is for students to learn about the job, earn while completing a co-op work term while temporarily integrating themselves into the work force.
Education at Work Ontario (EWO) was previously known as Co-op Ontario. Co-op Ontario was formed in 1997, through the amalgamation of the University Co-operative Educators (UCEO) and the College Co-operative Educators (CCEO) of Ontario.
