Every year EWO awards a Career Achievement Award to an individual who has demonstrated their commitment in support of promoting Co-op programs in Ontario. This year, Education at Work Ontario is honoured to announce that Marg Medeiros, a co-operative education consultant with Fanshawe College has received the 2015 Career Achievement Award.
"Marg Medeiros is deserving of the EWO Career Practitioner Award because of her tireless effort to promote the positive attributes of co-operative education within our college, the city of London, and the province of Ontario. She is without a doubt a champion of Co-operative Education.
She has fostered and cultivated strong and ongoing relationships with her employers within the I.T. and business sectors. Her students have benefited immensely from her encouragement, support and guidance throughout their college journey. She has expressed compassion, empathy and a level of genuineness that is truly Marg, and only Marg. You cannot possibly find adequate words to express what Marg has done for Co-op, her employers and her students."
