Dear EWO Members,
It is time again to begin our process of soliciting nominations for our fifth annual EWO Co-op Student of the Year (CSOTY) Awards, for 2009. Please ensure you read all the materials thoroughly and provide the necessary documentation. Completed nominations must be received by Tuesday, January 26th, 2009 (which is the same deadline date as CAFCE for the national awards).
The CSOTY Selection Committee will announce the winners by early March. The winners will each receive a $500 award, along with certificates, which will be presented by their institution during National Co-op Week 2010, and/or at the provincial EWO conference at Kempenfelt Conference Centre in May 2010.
Similar to previous years, one award will be presented to the winning student in the College category and one award to the winning student in the University category (which as of last year also includes College Applied Degree programs).
We look forward to receiving your nominations, celebrating your students’ successes, and ultimately recognizing a College co-op student and a University co-op student for their accomplishments in co-operative education!
